 The Parish of Drumcree is facilitating a 24 hour period of Eucharistic Adoration entitled ‘A day with the Lord.’ The initiative will be held in the Church of St John the Baptist and begins with Mass at 7.00 pm on Friday 11th March and concludes with the 7.00 pm Vigil Mass on Saturday 12th March.
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will continue uninterrupted from 7.30 pm on the Friday save for 10.00 am Mass on Saturday which will take place in the Church of St John the Baptist. The period of adoration will end on Saturday with Benediction at 6.30 pm.Each hour of adoration will be led by a particular parish group or volunteer. Every hour is dedicated to a special prayer intention connected with the life of the Church. You can download a timetable listing the various hours and the specific intentions. Parishioners and others are welcome to visit the Church of St John the Baptist at any time during this 24 hour period to pray before the Lord. It is a privileged opportunity to offer prayers of praise, thanksgiving and petition to Jesus and to pray in a particular way for the Church in Ireland. |
