 Following on from the Holy Father’s Pastoral Letter to the Catholics of Ireland, an Apostolic Visitation of the Armagh Archdiocese is to commence on 9th January 2011. The Visitation will be led by the Archbishop Emeritus of Westminster, Cardinal Cormac Murphy-O’Connor.
Further information about the Visitation can be obtained by accessing the links below to the Holy See Communiqué and the letter addressed by Cardinal Murphy-O’Connor to the people of the Archdiocese. As part of the Visitation process a number of public meetings will be hosted by Cardinal Murphy-O’Connor. His Eminence will also lead a Service of Penitence and Healing to be held in St Patrick’s Cathedral, Armagh at 3.00 pm on Sunday 23rd January. All are welcome to these events.
