Run for Barnardo's - Belfast or Newry Marathons 2011 - see www.barnardos.org.uk/northernireland.htm Reflection He will make his home among us We need a place we call home; where there is acceptance, a place we can just be ourselves. Home is the place of family, friendship and of faith. In the love of family, we find we can be ourselves, and relax into the mystery of being loved for who we are, and that is what home is. In the love of friendship we also find our home, accepted and affirmed for who we are, loved for what is strong and weak within us. And in faith there is the love of God, accepting, affirming, forgiving all we are and need. He will make his home among us. Home is more than bricks and mortar, more than a garden and a house; it is the place of warmth and acceptance. And Jesus said to many he met `Today I want to stay in your house'. He makes his home within you, in the warmth of your heart and in the centre of your personality, bringing with him gifts of affirmation, affection, acceptance and forgiveness He will make his home among us.
