St Oliver Plunkett Celebration in Drogheda on Sunday 4th July to mark the 90th anniversary of the Beatification of Oliver Plunkett. There will be a procession of the relics and a Diocesan Mass. Gary Howley, National Director of World Missions Ireland, has written to Cardinal Brady to thank Parishioners for their generous contribution last year despite difficult financial times. The Diocese collected 125,001 Euro, an increase of 7% on 2008. He asks God’s blessing on all who contribute and pray and support missionaries.
