PARISH OF DRUMCREE
Mission Statement: Our Parish is a Christ-centred community. In Baptism we are challenged by the Spirit to live and share the Gospel message. Through proclaiming the Gospel message to all, Growth in Faith, Liturgy, Justice Issues and
Ecumenism we extend our love and care to all people providing support in renewing and deepening our faith. We value the gifts and talents of each of our Parishioners and invite them to use these in responding to Christ's invitation to all of us to follow Him and spread the Good News to the whole world.

Reflection

No one can ever steal them from me

We belong to him,
as closely as the stone belongs to a rock,
the water to a river,
the scent to perfume,
for without him we would be nothing.

We belong to him
as the shadow belongs to the sun,
as the taste belongs to the bread,
as the reflection belongs to the light,
for without him we would be nothing.

We belong to him
as a child to a parent -
loved, united
but each our own person.

We belong to him
as brothers and sisters belong to each other,
finding our family roots
in the family of God,
and each unique in our own
personality.

We belong to him,
as earth belongs to heaven,
as the son Jesus belongs to his Father,
for as he and the Father are one,
so we are one with him,
and belong to God
because he belongs to God.

And because he has been born and lived among us,
the Word of God made flesh,
be belongs to us,
and we share his life,
as he humbled himself to share our life.

We belong to him when we sit with him in prayer,
or when we share his work,
each in our own way,
according to our talents and our call in life,
of  bringing on earth the kingdom of God.
