Children who attend the two Parish Primary schools or Ballyoran Primary school are prepared for First Holy Communion and Confirmation in school. 

If your child does not attend one of these schools but wishes to receive the sacraments and lives in the Parish of Drumcree, they will need to be registered for a course of preparation for both/either of these sacraments. 

Parents can register children in St. John the Baptist Church sacristy after any Mass on Saturday evening at 7pm or Sunday morning at 11.30am. The child’s original long birth certificate AND baptism certificate will be required to register. A course will then be organised and will take place one night a week in the Pastoral Centre. 

Registration opens on SUNDAY 6th OCTOBER. The CLOSING DATE for registration is SUNDAY 27th OCTOBER after 11.30am Mass.
